This course is for boys aged 12 to 15. Students must be exceptionally behaved; we require your child’s latest school report or a letter from your child’s school teacher. This can be emailed to: [email protected]. If your child has previously studied at The Maktab, we do not require a school report.
Parents must agree to the terms and conditions, these will be given to you if your child is selected for an interview. At least one parent must be present at the interview.
After the interview is complete, within 24 hours you will be informed if your child has been granted a position.
This course is an Islamic studies course which aims to help young adults develop a meaningful relationship with Islam. It will cover a wide range of subjects in a friendly and engaging manner. Students will also explore some of the challenges and opportunities young Muslims face in modern day Britain. These classes are very interactive and student participation is highly encouraged.
This course is not for students who are wishing to enrol into a Quran class/Hifz class/Alim class. Though there will be elements of Quran tilawah and memorisation etc, it is expected that students attending this course have already studied these subjects to a good standard. This course is not catered for students who want to specifically improve their tajweed/hifz/basic knowledge of Islam. However, there are no strict academic entry requirements for students wanting to attend this course, other than exceptional behaviour, attendance and punctuality etc.
The fee is £90 which is payable in instalments.
If you have any questions please email us at: [email protected]
Please note that places are very limited and priority is given to Maktab graduates, places are then allocated on a case by case basis.
